Hance Yu is
a multidisciplinary artist working across sculpture, installation, and moving
images, with a focus on fabric sculptures. His works often engage with themes
of ruins, alienated bodies, and urban ecologies. He is interested in the ambivalence
and existential dilemmas faced by individuals in modern urban environments, as
well as the contradictory relationships between culture and nature.
